Job Description

This assignment provides a diverse experience in the functions and needs of a rubber manufacturing group. The selected individual will be involved in the support of the Mechanical and Process Engineering Team

JOB DUTIES

  • Update and create CAD models for manufacturing machinery and tooling
  • Support machine design and modification projects
  • Maintain and organize engineering drawings and documentation
  • Work on data gathering to help assist in process improvement projects
  • Edit and compile plant-wide communications

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Minimum GPA 3.0; 15 credit hours completed
  • Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies
  • Minimum 1.0 years of CAD experience through school or employment (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)

DESIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • 2+ years remaining until completion of a Bachelor's degree
  • Fundamental mechanical design experience
  • Mechanical Engineering major is preferred but will consider any Engineering degree

Additional Information

  • Flexible work schedule to work around school schedule
  • Ability to flex up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
