Job Summary
As an IFF Manufacturing Technology intern, you’ll contribute to the standardization of engineering solutions applied in existing and future capital projects. You will be working with engineers, project managers, SMEs, and technicians to identify solutions that provide value and fit to organizational needs across multiple production and processing technologies within the Taste Business Unit. You will gain practical experience and learn about real-world applications of technical solutions when tested against often highly demanding production environments.
Your intern project may involve:
Analysis of existing or potential process improvements, technical solution, and capital projects.
Evaluation of newly introduced technical solution implementations.
Analysis of process data to evaluate process changes or capital projects.
Existing equipment and process reviews.
Interviews with project teams, project managers, SMEs, process engineers, production teams, and operators.
Updating and compiling a database of tested and verified technical solutions, proposals, user requirements documents, and technical documents.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial, or process engineering
Basic knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial modeling.
Basic knowledge of project management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
