Leidos is looking for highly motivated high school interns who are prepared to be high-tech problem solvers, critical thinkers and contributing team members.
You will be working under close supervision of our technical experts on some of our most cutting-edge programs in developmental engineering, software development, data analysis, test and evaluation, cybersecurity in the space and missile defense mission communities. As a member of our team, you will -
Attend various engineering planning meetings and be responsible for documenting discussions and action plans
Assist management in documenting and tracking engineering designs
Collaborate with management on projects and report as a part of engineering team
Perform business research (Internet, Intranet) and data analysis in support of engineering projects
Participate in Continuous Improvement teams
Basic Qualifications:
Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Applicants must be a currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior in a public or private high school
Applicants must be 16 years of age NLT 15 June 2025
Applicants must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team independently
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Passed advanced science and math classes (Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, Physics)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Perl, Java)

Pay Range:Pay Range $33,150.00 - $59,925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
