Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance and management of the engineering reporting systems
  • Drive improvements suggestions for improvement in the systems
  • Provide monthly engineering reports with performance analysis and to ensure that project actual/forecast/budget costs are accurately reflected
  • Support Finance Manager with short-term and long-term engineering reporting system planning and forecasting / budgeting
  • Conduct various analyses as required to improve budget and forecasting effort
  • Support development of the engineering business plan and monthly forecast
  • Define business risks and opportunities and identification of improvements
  • Engage with with engineering teams to drive resourcing and forecasting accuracy
  • Provide support to ensure the project actual costs are accurately reflected
  • Participation in financial month-end closing activities
  • Preparation of monthly journal vouchers

Ideal candidate will have the following background

Required competences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
  • Fluent computer skills, in particular Excel
  • Interpersonal skills; self-confident, communicative and team worker
  • Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to speak, read, write English

Preferred competences:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Accounting Knowledge
  • Prior professional experience
  • Ability to work with large amount of data using e.g. Alteryx, PowerQuery, SQL or MS Access
