Join our Team as an Engineering Documentation Specialist!
The Role:
We’re seeking an Engineering Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll create, test, and validate documentation that supports software releases, engineering changes, testing, and product development. You’ll work across engineering, change control, and marketing to keep documentation accurate and moving through established processes. If you enjoy combining detailed technical work with hands-on problem-solving in an engineering environment, this role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the development process.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with engineering teams to prepare and process engineering change requests.
- Collaborate with engineering, change control, and marketing to move changes through the processes.
- Read and interpret engineering prints, technical documentation, and related materials.
- Create clear, accurate standard work instructions and supporting documentation.
- Troubleshoot using technical documentation and help ensure documentation is completed on time.
- Collect data through hands-on work and assist with assessment and evaluation.
- Evaluate development software, testing processes, and procedures.
- Work in an engineering lab environment to assess product development.
- Occasionally use hand tools to build or modify equipment as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Practical understanding of engineering principles and documentation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
What Sets You Apart:
- Associate degree or completed college coursework in a technical program.
Where and When You’ll Work:
- This is a first shift Monday - Friday in-person role located at our Greene, New York office - ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Wage - $27.52 - $35.29 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
