Engineering Doc Specialist

Responsible for engineering data and technical document management, perform data gathering, analysis and review to ensure data integrity; Responsible for engineering documentation standards, guidelines and templates, draft, review, classify and manage technical documents, support engineering teams in document collection, preparation and management; Power user of SAP MM (Material Master), DMS (Document Management System) and Product Structure/BOM Management.

• Review/Check PCB design and 3D models to perform component fitting & installation evaluation.
• Redline the design changes, implement drawing updates and perform PCB layout changes such as routing, placement, silkscreen updates, etc.
• Gather technical documents, classify, organize engineering data in SAP and other ERP systems.
• Review engineering design files in compliance to company standards and provide necessary changes or proposal for improvements.
• Support on technical document writing, preparation and statistical analysis.
• Work with engineers to define the required changes, perform necessary paperwork and raise ECR.
• Prepare supporting technical documents to support ECR and customer approval.
• Coordinate with sourcing team to obtain requisite technical documents – datasheet, specification, certificates, etc. from suppliers and manufacturers, and store/manage per company policy and requirements.
• Standardize technical documents (test plan, reports, guidelines, etc.), create document templates, and improve the associated processes.

• Diploma or above in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalents.
• 3+ years of experience in Engineering Documentation & Control, Engineering data management.
• Experienced in Electrical and Mechanical CAD tools, Altium, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of engineering documentation standards and practices.
• Good understanding of Product BOM, DMS, PLM/ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc.
• Good Technical writing capability and communication skills.
• English-speaking is must, and desirable for Chinese-speaking.
• Experience in Power Query, Python/VBA, BI tools are strong plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 - Office tools, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Result-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate for continuous improvements.
