About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically curious engineer to join our Cloud Platform team. This role offers the opportunity to work on building and scaling the firm's cloud infrastructure while learning from experienced technical leaders. You will be hands-on with AWS technologies and contribute to platform engineering initiatives that impact teams across the organization.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure components on AWS
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Support the design and implementation of scalable and secure platform services
- Contribute to automation efforts to improve deployment and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture decisions and design reviews
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues
- Participate in on-call rotations to support platform reliability
- Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Continuously learn and stay current with AWS services and cloud best practices
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and cloud security principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow technically
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Interest in platform engineering and building tools for developers
