We are seeking an Engineering Designer - Electrical.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

Provide technical and functional support to the Vehicle
Integrations team relating to vehicle installed and NPD harnessing, while adhering to
Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs metrics.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

1. Assist in the design, testing, and performance validation, of electrical harness /
system prototypes which includes internal lab testing as well as external field
testing.
2. Produce detailed harness and mechanical drawings on CAD following company
standards with minimal guidance.
3. Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going
improvement of vehicle installed electrical component function and quality.
4. Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings, schematics,
technical bulletins, and government regulations.
5. Assist in creating product literature including vehicle and NPD electrical
Installation Instructions.
6. Support all 5S and other Lean activities.
7. Complete other reasonably related duties as assigned.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

Education and/or Experience: Familiarity with 12V DC electrical systems and
common electrical components. Experience working on vehicle electrical systems and
general vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. 2D CAD skills are desirable but on the
job training is available.

Language Skills: Able to read and interpret drawings, schematics, electrical and
mechanical blueprints, technical bulletins and procedures, or government regulations.
Able to write operations and procedure manuals, and to effectively communicate with
other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Able to apply concepts of basic algebra
and geometry.

Other Skills and Responsibilities: Knowledge of and able to apply computers and
related software, such as spreadsheet, work processing, CAD (DraftSite or AutoCAD),
etc., to the solution of engineering problems.
