We are looking for an Engineering Data Management Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.
Mission: Special subtype of system engineering with the focus on a transversal Engineering speciality: Engineering Data Management. Collaborates closely with the Chief Engineer / engineering project manager of different systems/system elements for Airbus Defence and Space applying the most efficient and innovative technologies, process and tools related to this specific area.
Areas of impact: Project management, software development lifecycles, scheduling, engineering KPI reporting, interactive dashboards, delivery management, requirements’ database administration, technical documentation processes
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and integrate data from multiple platforms
- Develop robust mechanisms for tracking various metrics and KPIs
- Data modelling
- Develop automated reports which will reduce manual efforts
- Develop customized dashboards which will be used for optimizing financial performance and helping on strategic decision-making process
- Prepare management reports and presentations, both recurring and ad-hoc
- Based on business needs, occasional travel within and outside the country may be required.
Requirements:
Skills
- Proven analytics, modelling and data interpretation skills
- Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
- Strong Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools (Qlik Sense)
- Presentation skills to present the results in a visually appealing way
- Adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
- Ability to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders; the role is transversal and assumes communication with various managers and teams, most communication needs to be handled remotely
- Knowledge on the Specialty area: Project Management and basic financial processes
- Fluent in English, ideally basic German and French
