Job Description

Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in Seychelles, is seeking a highly organised and efficient Engineering Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering projects, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring smooth operations of our resort's facilities.

  • Coordinate engineering projects across the resort, liaising with various departments and external contractors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for all engineering systems and equipment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives within the engineering department
  • Prepare and maintain engineering budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist in the procurement of equipment and materials for engineering projects
  • Coordinate training sessions for staff on new equipment and procedures
  • Act as a point of contact for engineering-related queries from other departments

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering coordination or a similar role
  • Proficiency in project management techniques and tools
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a hospitality environment
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in engineering
  • Experience in hospitality or resort engineering is highly desirable
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required
