Engineering Administrator Apprenticeship - STN

Our company is seeking an Apprentice to join the team as an Engineering Administrator at Stansted Airport to play a pivotal role in helping the team to manage our workforce scheduling and ensuring seamless operations. This is a business apprenticeship opportunity, which will allow you to gain your qualifications whilst learning on the job.
The candidate will be starting in an entry level position and will be required to build and maintain an excellent relationship with the engineering team, in a busy and demanding environment and manage the day to day competing priorities that the aviation sector brings. Duties:
- Support the Rostering Team to maintain the rosters throughout the UK and Poland
- Liaise with engineering staff and other departments to arrange cover for training and absence
- Arrange Hotel accommodation and flights for engineering staff on scheduled travel as required
- Support the administration of the department
- Administer Temporary Airport ID’s, Airport ID and renewal ID’s
- Assist with the Administration process for Airport ID’s as necessary such as reference chasing
- Any other tasks as requested by the UK General Manager and HR Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Computer Literate
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work well on own initiative or as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and with a high level of attention to detail
This is an office based role working Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.30 and Friday 08.30 - 17.00.
