Qualifications

• Practical programming experience in PHP from 3 years in real projects;
• Expert in MySQL and relational DB design;
• Understanding of REST architecture and frameworks;
• Understanding of TCP and network concepts;
• Good debugging and testing skills;
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once;
• Good English skills (reading and writing);
• Teamwork, responsibility, deadline commitment.

Would be a plus:

• Javascript, AJAX knowledge;
• Unix Administration skills (Debian in particular);
• Experience in working with network and server development frameworks (Node.js, Tornado, etc.);
• Experience in socket/TCP programming;
• Experience in NoSQL Dbs such as Couchbase;
• C/C++/Java knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build web applications, from the DB up to layout and interface;
• Evaluate and improve exiting applications and tools;
• Maintain, test and document applications developed;
• Configure servers, services and development environments needed to carry on the tasks at hand.
