TechOps Director, Professional Services (Remote)
About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for an experienced and highly motivated leader for the Professional Services TechOps team. The Professional Services TechOps team is responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and supporting the tooling and infrastructure used by the Professional Services consulting team to perform its incident response and defense missions.
Remote U.S. role within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following offices: Sunnyvale, CA; Irvine, CA; El Segundo, CA; Austin, TX; Seattle, WA; Kirkland, WA; Columbia, MD; Boston, MA; Arlington, VA; St. Louis, MO; Minneapolis, MN.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Lead a team of talented and specialized personnel focused on delivering tools and solutions supporting a dynamic mission that matters
Act as the product owner for major initiatives that extend current and future capabilities of Falcon Forensics
Drive the technical strategy of the team and ensure goals are met, including quarterly, yearly, and 3-year vision roadmap goals.
Engage with and support stakeholders in both Service delivery and Product Engineering organizations
Manage revenue, bookings, cogs, and margin targets associated with tooling being fielded by the team
Communicate complex technical concepts to customers, stakeholders, executives, and practitioners
Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members such as service delivery, technical product management, engineering, design, sales, and support teams.
What You’ll Need:
Demonstrated track record of building a strong core engineering team
Hands-on management experience leading software and infrastructure engineers
Software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle
Solid grasp of cybersecurity, threat landscape, platform security, adversary groups, malware campaigns, kill chain techniques, tactics, and procedures.
Solid design and problem-solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance
Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to educate and inspire a cross-functional team
Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
Bonus Points:
Hands-on experience as a digital forensics or incident response practitioner
Experience with Humio, Splunk, or ElasticSearch
Experience with AWS cloud environments and container technologies
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Go and Python
Experience with Data Science or Machine Learning techniques
