Do you have a vision for the creation and implementation of future systems? As System Integration and Development Execution Leaders in the NAND Product Development Team, we are responsible for enabling the development of high value system solutions concurrent with the latest NAND technology and feature developments! We are the NAND development representatives and function as points of contact for system development. We ensure that system findings and relevant data are used to strengthen NAND development. You will lead outstanding people toward navigating challenges and building high value solutions with the systems you are representing.
With the focus on system development priorities, we set the road map, and work within the team to ensure those priorities are executed. We bring value by representing customer requirements and opportunities, finding successful solutions regarding NAND capability and system needs, as well as delivering groundbreaking integration of NAND and systems!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the newest technology and product enablement, working with a highly dedicated and focused deeply diverse team, in delivering solutions that are outstanding from both the perspective of technology and capability. You will be working closely with SME(s) from Design, Technology Development, SSD and Mobile System Architects, Media Architecture Group, Product Engineering, BU, Manufacturing, and other operational and development groups.
Responsibilities

• Drive and direct technical inputs and drive silicon-system alignment on requirements and commitments using the Success Criteria Document (SCD)
• Work together with MAG / System Architecture / BU/ Apps/ TD to resolve any gaps between NAND commit and system requirements.
• Represent NAND team in System PDTs and collaborate for changes required to achieve industry leading systems
• Direct NAND achievements and sample delivery schedules in sync with system development timeline
• Own capability benchmarking for all NAND sample deliveries
• Provide System development teams with relevant documentation, and drive meetings to garner approval from partners
• Understand sample usage/potential challenges with requirements and Coordinate mitigations with system team, MAG, TD, NAND PE - to develop workaround
• Review cell changes/coordinate system integration details (delivery, FW compatibility)
• Drive teamwork between NAND, MAG, and System teams to find solutions for NAND-system finds/gaps.
• Communicate accurate priorities within NAND Development team to maintain focus on achieving system specs and highlight concerns to both Component and System teams for any issues.
• Direct communication with system teams regarding any NAND ES / QR capability issues. Assist with risk assessment for any identified issues.
• Own resolution and communication on issues with NAND System Integration.
• Manage the integration of development activity, by leveraging the technical expertise within the broader engineering team to meet project deliverables, including:
• RWB/ Performance/ Power optimization
• Design Validation
• Reticle conversion strategy and execution
• Qual plan and prep
• facilitating cross-functional product life-cycle management
• build and maintain detailed engineering-focused product development schedule and drive relevant tactical execution from pre-silicon readiness through qualification

Requirements
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate:

• Focus on succeeding within a globally diverse engineering environment with a strong development focus
• Keen interest in developing NAND for system solutions, understanding of system product needs
• Desire to develop knowledge and expertise in understanding NAND-system interaction
• A solid understanding of system firmware/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be preferred
• Good knowledge of NAND device/design is not a pre-requisite, but would be an added advantage
• Prior working knowledge on system media management, SSD/mNAND/NAND would be an added advantage
• Prior experience in leading product development projects or acting in similar capacity would be of added advantage.

Education

• Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Material Engineering or related subject areas
