The Staff Systems Engineer, Okta & Google Workspace, will be responsible for the strategy, design, delivery, and support of SaaS tools and solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting innovative solutions while partnering with WeWork’s Information Security and Service Desk teams to support the WeWork environment, including automation, demonstrating software products, and cross-system integrations. This position reports directly to the Head of Global IT. 

Core Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate our SaaS applications and create / modify our SaaS strategy to support the future of work. 
• Lead and collaborate on SaaS projects that directly support WeWork’s employees. 
• Liaise with stakeholders, such as Client Engineering, Information Security, and Service Desk to incorporate business needs and stakeholder feedback into application designs. 
• Design automations and write code and scripts for SaaS applications, as well as maintaining and testing applications for risks.
• Act as the point of escalation/be on-call and be the subject matter expert for SaaS escalations from the Service Desk. 
• Optimize existing applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades. 
• Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories. 
• Perform quarterly diagnostic tests and debugging procedures, as well as improving code and re-designing tasks. 
• Lead cross company projects and initiatives that impact the end user computing solutions and experiences. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant industry experience or combination of education and/or experience. 
• At least two of the following SaaS certifications: Okta Administrator, Okta Developer, Google Cloud Engineer, Google Workspace, Bettercloud Certified Administrator, etc. 
• ITIL Foundations certification
• Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining cloud solutions
• Experience working with LAN/WAN network applications.
• Experience scripting in one or more of the following: Bash, Powershell, Applescript, Python, Perl
• Advanced understanding of identity providers and 2FA / MFA solutions such as (Okta, Duo, Azure and on-premise AD)
• Extensive working knowledge of writing scripts to automate SaaS solutions using web services APIs (REST, SOAP)
• Advanced knowledge of SAML/OIDC authentication and SCIM application provisioning automation
• Advanced knowledge of performance monitors and debugging tools. 
• Extensive experience leading cross-functional projects
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOX compliance
