Job Description
NOTE: This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. In this role you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Storage Team, using your technical skills, and the ServiceNow platform, to manage storage worldwide. This will include both operational and project-based work where you will deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage capacity within the ServiceNow cloud. Applicants must have a strong understanding of shared storage across the entire Enterprise, ability to manage and maintain multiple sites simultaneously, ability to configure and deploy multiple types of storage appliances, and a general understanding of cloud-based storage architecture.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Good understanding of the different storage protocols like NFS, iSCSI, FC, and NVMe/NVMeOF and NAS/SAN design
- Strong understanding of enterprise class storage hardware (e.g. Dell, Pure, HP, NetAPP etc.)
- Good understanding of space-saving technologies such as deduplication and compression
- Be able to create, support and maintain CIFS/NFS/S3 shares
- Good understanding of UNIX/CentOS and comfortable with CLI
- Comfortable with Virtualization – specifically VMware’s ESXi
- Broad knowledge of Flash Storage solutions
- Working knowledge of networking/server architecture and hardware.
- Experience working in a multi-team enterprise service delivery environment
- Ability to function and prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task, team environment
- Process oriented and experienced in process development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task several unrelated issues
- Strong documentation skills with particular emphasis on technical processes and standards
- Knowledge and experience in ITIL process methodologies (certification a plus)
- Proven ability to function independently in ambiguous situations with a record of success
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on highly technical, multi-disciplined projects
- General understanding of capacity planning
- Excellent communication, customer focus, problem solving, conflict management, time management and interpersonal skills
- Must have a minimum of four years of experience in enterprise operations with a record of increasing role responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, related field or equivalent experience
