You will be working with a group of engineers within NM's Wealth (Investment Product Services) group, building high-quality applications used to help our clients service their products.
To support our growing team, we are seeking a strong Java and Javascript developer, who is passionate about writing code that meets business needs, sees things through the eyes of an architect and wants to learn front-end/ back-end frameworks and become a proficient full-stack engineer.
Education/ Professional Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional experience required
  • 5+ years of REST API development experience using Java Sprint Boot or Nodejs for on-premises and cloud applications using AWS services, Kubernetes/Docker.
  • 5+ years of experience with a proficient level understanding of Javascript and React.
  • 3+ years of professional client-server application and web development experience is required
  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (GitLab or Jenkins), MQ services, MySQL or UDB/DB2.
  • Experience writing Unit tests using JUnit
  • Experience with AWS technologies and services
  • Experience with DB technologies; SQL/no-SQL, e. g. MySQL/MongoDB
  • Experience with Git repositories and git CLI, familiarity with GitLab or GitHub
  • Understanding of TDD, OOAD, multi-threaded applications and distributed systems
  • Understanding of RESTful protocols, design, implementation, and testing
  • Understanding of security and compliance principles and implementations


Some nice to have's:

  • Experience working within Agile framework (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with Jira, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Twistlock.
  • Experience with Dynatrace and ELK.
  • Experience with Dev Ops, specifically with the AWS tech stack and GitLab CI pipelines.

  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Are experienced in mentoring new team members.


Compensation Range:
Pay Range - Start:
$97,930.00
Pay Range - End:
$139,900.00
