.We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our team. This is for one of our Product Development teams. Our primary responsibility is application development using .NET Core, JavaScript (React and NodeJS), and AWS native technologies to solve challenges around accessing patient information to improve care coordination and care quality. You’ll work with our team of analysts, architects, developers, designers, automation engineers, and product managers within our agile development process.
 
JOB DUTIES
 
 
Assists with the execution of testing for all system components, including functional, non-functional, and integration testing
Defines test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Documents and generates test reports
Ensures traceability from requirements to test cases and vice-versa
Automates tests for new features using the existing automation framework
Utilizes AI software engineering process to complete tasks as assigned and provides feedback for process improvement
Maintain high quality of work products, including quality, understandable code.
Be part of our team and actively collaborate, communicate, and engage in building products that improve patient outcomes.
Manage multiple job duties through efficient task management.
Provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
Communicate effectively with business partners and clients when needed.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Required
 
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
5+ years of direct software development, software QA, or related experience
Experience with test automation using tools like Selenium and Cucumber
Experience testing web experiences, web services, and queue-based processors
Proficient in SQL and a modern programming language (e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript)
Good understanding of software development fundamentals
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills.
Desire to work in a collaborative environment, as part of an Agile Scrum team
Demonstrable experience defining, developing, and executing tests, within a CI/CD process, such as:
· Integration tests
· Sanity tests
· Smoke tests
· Interface tests
· Automated regression tests
· Performance tests
· Stress tests
· Reliability tests
· Usability tests
· Browser compatibility tests
· Boundary value tests
· Compliance tests
· Localization tests

Good to Have: Mobile/iOS/Swift development experience & background
 
Bonus
Prior startup experience during a high-growth phase
Experience with data stream processing and/or complex event processing
Experience with testing application deployed to the public cloud (e.g. AWS)
Experience utilizing Docker
Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry
Familiarity with standards like HL7, CCD/CCDA, DIRECT, IHE, MDM
