About the Team

This position is for the Cross Channel Team. This team delivers unified cross channel commerce experiences across all channels that will enable brands to convert consumers at various touch points through their planning and purchase journey.

In this role you will:

• Working under limited supervision/guidance and consistently delivering results.
• Using various OO & functional language techniques to build APIs & business logic
• Design, Build, and Deploy Node.js enterprise level solutions.
• Design robust solutions that scale - compute, storage, networking - cost-effectively while protecting customer data
• Build new and innovative features from initial concept to release.
• Leverage public cloud technologies and databases
• Identifying & eliminate performance & scale issues affecting both front and back ends

You should be an expert in:

• Being a team player and collaborating in a remote environment with distributed teams
• Strong coding skills & ability to perform in a dynamic, agile & entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with client-side JS frameworks, and specifically Prototype and Node.js - advantage
• Experience with Java.

• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design
• Ability to design simple solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of online applications
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
• Experience integrating with third party API’s
• Experience in logging/monitoring tools like Graphite, Kibanna, Grafana, Prometheus - advantage

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial software development.
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level software applications.
