Job Description
Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there may not be an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates. If your background is a match to our requirements, we will follow up with an exploratory conversation.
Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, or Bluetooth/BLE
Hands-on experience on bring up and debug of LTE modules, ability to use lab equipment (such as spectrum/network analyzer, high speed scopes, etc).
Experience with Wireless system FW/SW regression test.
Experience/familiarity with Wireless network certification process
Knowledgeable about RF module integration with high speed processors and high speed memory bus PCB designs.
Experience with digital interfaces including USB/UART/I2C/JTAG
Experience with production test systems.
Familiarity with radiated and conductive measurements, antennas, chambers, and calibration.
Orcad/Allegro schematic capture, board layout, board bring up and debug, and integration of hardware and software to implement hand held battery powered devices.
Previous LTE product design and launch and support of products to the field
Experience with small size, low weight, low power, battery powered devices
Basic Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of LTE Engineering experience or 9+ years of electrical engineering experience.
