Job Description:
Davidson is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

As a Senior Algorithm Engineer, the candidate will become part of the National Team- Algorithm Team. Candidate will be responsible for development, prototyping, analysis, and implementation of target tracking, target discrimination, and battle management algorithms. Candidate will also implement algorithms in a prototype environment, perform comparative data analysis to assess algorithm performance, and review the content and details of technical products. The candidate will design, develop, integrate, document, test and debug prototype software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to the Fire Control problem space. Qualifications Requirements

Masters in Engineering, Computer Science Mathematics, or Physics with a minimum of twenty years of relevant experience

Proven ability to design and prototype algorithms in C# or C++

Experience performing data post-processing and performance analysis

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

Preferred Competencies/Experience/Certifications:

Master degree or PHd

Experience in battle management and fire control research

Experience with algorithm development in support of DoD programs

Clearance:

Must have an active Secret clearance
