SWBC is seeking a talented individual to align business needs and goals with IT services, products, software, and infrastructure. Responsible for evaluating the business needs and determining how to support those needs as effectively as possible. Act as a liaison between internal/external business units and Information Technology on a variety of products, programs, and applications to provide solutions to design and implement.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Designs overall system and solution architecture, system integration, and implementation strategy
  • Works with different cross functional teams to ensure the appropriate specification of the infrastructure required for development
  • Designs overall system and solution architecture, system integration, and implementation strategy
  • Produces application design documentation for complex applications and ensures the technical integrity and quality of the solutions.
  • Generates conceptual/logical architectures.
  • Lead creation of conceptual and logical requirements of product solution (people, process, technology and information) through collaboration with business, enterprise, application, security and infrastructure architects.
  • Leads brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identifies areas where IT can support business needs and goals.
  • Works with business units to develop IT strategies and to improve current IT implementations.
  • Works with product and delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and products.
  • Contribute to backlog refinement and roadmaps.
  • Communicates and consult with clients and external/internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Make tactical decisions to improve the design, define requirements, and generate stakeholder buy-in for our desired path forward.
  • Ability to step up into team gaps and ambiguous situations to help structure the team's action plan.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.
  • MBA, Masters in Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in business architecture or business analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, technical and business knowledge.
  • Understanding of the advantages, pitfalls and costs of applications and technologies as well as integration of various technical platforms
  • Investigate information systems that might benefit SWBC
  • Maintain an awareness of business solutions particularly in the area of collaboration, document management, insurance solutions and CRM that might support SWBC's diverse interests.
