MISSION
SwagUp is growing and we are looking for a leader in the area of Software Engineering.
A Software Engineering Manager at SwagUp is primarily focused on the success and growth of their team(s). This role requires a proven record at delivering technical solutions, as well as people growth and development. In this role you will help mentor and guide a part of our technical organization, instilling good patterns and practices helping us deliver quality product quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and grow multiple engineering teams.
  • Work effectively cross-functionally to drive change and influence product and process decisions.
  • Help to shape thinking around designing scalable products and business processes/programs to support SwagUp's rapid growth.
  • Be both a deep technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
  • Champion engineering excellence, establishing business metrics, and drive continuous operational improvement.

REQUIREMENTS
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience growing and managing multi-team organizations.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in core programming languages such as C++, PHP, Java, Python.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with JavaScript and browser APIs.
  • Experience with React.
  • Proven track record of creating and managing high performing teams.
  • Interest in people and organizations.
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $200,000
