Work directly with traders (all ex-Wall Street professionals) growing the Trading Desk business by developing tools to facilitate institutional over the counter trading and algorithmic execution!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with traders to implement tailored software solutions
• Take on primary ownership of a medium-sized project, including future design and architecture decisions
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Deploy and monitor continuously running applications
• Pull and consolidate data from various third-party APIs and other sources

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a full stack or backend developer in the finance or trading industry
• At least 3 years of experience in Go or Python
• Knowledge of Python, Ruby, or a similar scripting language
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) for deployment and orchestration

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or a similar web application framework
• Familiarity with ReactJS or similar frontend framework
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with core AWS services (EC2, ELB, S3, RDS)
• Experience with crypto/FX trading, derivatives and blockchains
• Experience writing smart order routing (SOR) strategies
