Job Purpose

What does a great (Senior Java Developer) do?• This Senior Java Developer position is extremely important to Fiserv, as you'll be working on CommerceHub: a brand new go-forward payment processing platform, centered around a single point of entry for enterprise-level merchants.• As part of this role, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment that will keep you engaged, as new components will be built out on a periodic basis for the platform. The best part of the job is the vast among of knowledge that you'll obtain as you work on the platform. Candidates for this position will be kept on their toes and will be expected to stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies.• This position will entail building working with the architect team on gathering requirements, building the solution, and testing the features before being released.• If you're the type of developer that is ready to lead our junior developers, have experience developing software with agile methodologies, thrive on being in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in putting their name on the applications they help develop, we'd love to speak with you!

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• 5+ years working on Java applications with the following skills: Spring Framework (Core, MVC, AOP), Spring Boot, Git, Maven.• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications to implementation teams, while also being able to work independently as well as on a team.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:• WebFlux or other Reactive Programming experience• JPA• Redis• Oracle / RDBMS• Kafka• Concourse or other similar CI/CD pipeline• Payments experience• Jira• Confluence• Master's degree

Who We Are: Global Digital Commerce front end, back end clearing, and settlement platforms provide solutions catering to a wide range of merchant acquiring and eCommerce services to businesses to facilitate the acceptance of various electronic payments such as POS, mobile, and Clover POS systems
