Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

• Develop, maintain and execute test strategies and programs for Private Cellular network
• Manage and maintain Private Cellular Network (PCN) lab and build PCN network from Radios, core, and UEs
• Develop, optimize, and analyze the test code for validation of features, systems, and performance
• Collaborate with various engineering and production groups to ensure test program, infrastructure, and system readiness for new product introduction as well as high volume traffic and scale
• Develop and release test programs to production promptly
• Guide team members and managers on project
• Maintain Jira tasks and communicate progress to leaders

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science
• Five (5) years of experience as a system administrator, preferably in the Telecom sector
• TCP/IP model Layer 2-3 Ethernet/VLAN/TCP/IP understanding
• Understanding of mobile telecom concepts based on 3GPP standards and protocols, and knowledge of basic call flows in 3G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G
• Background in protocols such as SIP, ISUP, MAP, CAP, GTP, Diameter
• Exposure to Wireshark packet analysis
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
• Experience in Linux
• Familiarity with Jira

Bonus Points:

• Experience in Jenkins, Cucumber, Behave, or similar test automation suites

At Cradlepoint, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.

Your Pay:

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint's Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time:

Your work-life balance is important to us. Cradlepoint provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employee's FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
