Responsibilities

• Serve as Third-tier engineering support for our field operations, solution architects, and other customer-facing departments supporting the Dragos platform
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues experienced by customers on the Dragos Platform
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including server setup, services, and network configuration
• Track system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal scrum teams (e.g. software developers)
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Ensure all issues are properly logged
• Develop production code fixes to bugs/defects found in the platform

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing or supporting applications in Linux environments
• Familiarity with Linux (command line), Debian based Operating Systems, scripting languages (python, shell, etc)
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting software for a network appliance and various network topologies
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
• US Permanent Resident, US Citizen, or Canadian Citizen (Must be able to pass background checks)

Compensation

• Base Salary: $168,000
• Base + Benefits + Equity = $290,000
• Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)
• Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program. This will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter.
