As an Android Dev at Podium, you'll work on a cross-disciplinary team using your knowledge to build native Android applications that are used by thousands of people each week. Our team utilizes Kotlin and Jetpack and are looking for highly technical folks that have a solid grasp on our technologies. This role is fully remote, so if you like solving interesting problems and thrive in a hyper-growth setting, this is the role for you!
What you will be doing:
- Implement designs to create applications for the Android platform
- Attending daily standup and other meetings as needed
- Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about your work
- Collaborate with team to plan and implement product roadmap
- Focus on quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
- Use the latest technologies and Android APIs to create world-class applications
What you should have:
- 5+ years working as an mobile engineer with experience in Kotlin & Jetpack
- Algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Creative approach to testing and quality assurance
- Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems
- Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
