Job Role Summary
Working as part of a global team and within an agile framework, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Ensono's ServiceNow instance as part of the larger Ensono Envision platform, our Hybrid IT Service Management platform. Ensono Envision underpins the industry-leading service we deliver to our clients every day, 24 hours a day.
A Senior Application Developer works to extend or enhance the functionality of the ServiceNow platform, integrates Ensono and third-party software to create solutions to business problems defined by specific business requirements, draws upon technical and domain knowledge to solve complex problems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brings prior experience to organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations
• Provides consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to associates
• Actively contributes to domain body of knowledge
• Lead in providing technical expertise to project team members in identifying, creating, and defining application requirements
• Continuing education
• Evaluate processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient as possible
• Recommend solutions to leadership and expert level application developers
• Responsible for high priority projects and ensuring that timelines are met
• Assist less experienced application developers on projects as necessary
• Code, document, and implement project specifications with little or no assistance from expert level application developers
• Build prototypes for projects
• Mentor and train junior/associate level application developers
• Evaluate current solutions to ensure that all business requirements are met, and the applications are functioning as efficiently as possible
• Develop the direction and strategy of future development projects
• Work with management on key performance indicators

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

• Tools Technologies - JavaScript, Python, MSSQL
• Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of relevant work experience
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and work independently
• Familiar with automated testing systems
• Experience in secure code development practices (authentication, authorization, role scoping, cross site scripting and SQL injection prevention)
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with web service development
• Experience with integrating third party applications
• Experience designing, coding, testing, and implementing enterprise solutions
• Experience with different hardware and operating system architectures
• Detailed knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Experience in leading multiple enterprise level projects
• Experience in working with multiple levels of management to solve complex business problems
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Ability to explain complex solutions to business owners and customers

Preferred

• Experience in the ServiceNow platform
• Experience with Server and SQL environments
• Familiar with Active Directory
• Knowledge of networking and VLANs

• ServiceNow Certifications

• Microsoft MCSE, MCSM, MCA
• Experience in presenting solutions to medium/large audiences
