What You Will Do:

We have an exciting job opportunity available for a Senior .NET / API Developer to join the application development team in ESIS, a Third Party Administrator within Chubb that supports claims management for our clients.On our team, you'll leverage your extensive background in software development, integration, maintenance, and delivery of high-quality, resilient, and high-performance applications every day. You'll work with both emerging and legacy technology platforms as you build software solutions that directly impact the lives of policyholders whose claims are processed through these applications. In this role, you will:

  • Design, deploy, test, and implement software solutions utilizing .NET technologies, documenting work thoroughly, accurately, and promptly
  • Partner with other engineering and product teams to loosely couple and scale the service ecosystem
  • Practice DevOps ensuring a culture of testing and releasing software on Azure continuously using automation and monitoring
  • Provide operational support for production systems, as needed
  • Participate in design discussions and technical code reviews
  • Drive a culture of proactive maintenance and monitoring of systems/applications through collaboration with infrastructure group and production support team



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 6 years of hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web API, JSON, YAML, ORM, OAuth, Mutual Authentication, etc.
  • Deep knowledge in database architecture using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Expertise in developing and consuming external web services
  • Good understanding of Azure services like Application Gateway, APIM, Storage queues, blobs, Event Grid, Service Bus, Redis Cache, Key Vault, App Services, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, etc.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Build and Release pipelines
  • Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
  • Dedication to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews
