About the opportunity

You’ll join our Payments vertical and the team that develops a complete range of payments solutions including point-of-sale, ecommerce, mobile, in-app, recurring billing, e-invoicing, and auto-reconciliation.

Our cloud-based solutions allow for seamless, secure processing and help our customers increase revenue, so they become more profitable.

Reporting into the Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the development of features and fixes to industry standards for quality, maintainability and readability. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:

• Software specification for feature development
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Recognizing technical debt and escalating potential issues to the development team
• Unit and Integration Testing
• Software security reviews to industry standards for PCI/DSS and OWASP
• Configuring and maintaining support applications such as Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Performing deployments to production, test and development environments
•  Configuration of CI/CD Pipelines

Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

• Minimum 5+ years working in a similar role or position
• You can articulate the pros and cons of any architecture and design. offering multiple solutions to provide the best options moving forward.
• Proven experienced with specification and design using tools such as Unified Modelling Language, Dataflow Diagrams, Functional Specifications, etc.
• Deep understanding of Industry standards for software development and refactoring standards such as S.O.L.I.D. principles of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Refactoring Patterns and Refactoring and Coding Standards.
• Working understanding and knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Microservices Architecture
• Proven proficiency in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript/Typescript, .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core and SQL/T-SQL
