Senior Fullstack Engineer
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will own and manage the end-to-end integration of the Q2 Lending Platform with the various products within the Q2 ecosystem. This will enable the financial institutions to offer a digitally integrated experience to their customers, better manage their customer relationships, enable 360° view of the data to their customers, drive cross-sell opportunities, streamline business workflows, and increase profitability. Our ideal candidate is someone who has strong experience building maintainable integrated solutions by applying industry-standard design patterns and using a mix of open-source technologies and Salesforce technologies.
Q2 Lending is a division of Q2 that offers a cloud-based, end-to-end lending platform to deliver innovation to the global lending community. Unlike legacy technology platforms that are expensive to maintain and prevent agile response to market conditions, Q2 clients that leverage Q2 Lending are able to take back control of their business by quickly implementing, extending, and digitizing the entire lending lifecycle. Clients include banks, traditional finance companies, online lenders, and marketplace platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
10+ years of related work experience designing multi-tier enterprise solutions
7+ years of experience in leveraging enterprise integration patterns and building secure and scalable integrations.
Experience building financial integrations to and from Salesforce Platform either directly or using any middleware solutions as MuleSoft preferred.
Experience with API development lifecycle, from design and development to governance and maintenance.
Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, RAML, GIT, etc.
Familiarity with application and network-level security and auth mechanisms i.e., OAuth, Basic Auth, Tokens, SAML, etc.
Proficiency of at least one object-oriented programming language like Python, C#, Java, etc.
2 - 4 years of hands-on experience with DevOps or Git source control and CI/CD
3+ years of experience with Web Application Development including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Understanding of synchronous/asynchronous patterns, messaging, queuing, filtering, transformation, guaranteed delivery, batch processing, error handling, and recovery strategies.
2+ years of experience in banking and/or lending solutions preferred.
Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall implementation methodologies.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Proven results leading and overseeing customer and/or partner success stories in the following domains: front- and back-end solution architecture, development and release management strategies, change management, and direct leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
Guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value.
A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.
Polished speaker with the ability to evangelize best practices at various levels within a large organization.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstratable experience delivering solutions as part of a global (distributed) team
Ability to mentor individuals and explain technical decisions
The Work You Will Do
Build relationships and drive conversations with different product teams within Q2 to understand the systems and the business functions to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution with the Q2 Lending Platform.
Work with the product owners and drive partnership with various teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements, process improvements to integrate and deploy the solutions.
Lead development efforts associated with enterprise-level systems including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Drive the creation of architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, data models, deployment architecture, and technical design documents which are aligned to enterprise standards and leverage Q2 Lending best practices.
Design and develop working prototypes to integrate different Q2 products with the Q2 Lending Platform.
Provide guidance on resolving a variety of high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
Advise and mentor diverse teams, which include internal teams across the organization and partner ecosystem in technical and functional product development aspects.
Contribute to product vision while advising and articulating strategies on enabling technologies including the various Q2 products and Q2 Lending Platform.
Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and governance.
Identification and proactive management of risk areas and commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution.
Maintains abreast of latest integration technology trends, patterns, and Salesforce’s latest releases and features to drive adoption across the Q2 Lending platform.
Drive business needs for data analytics and cross-sell capabilities in the platform.
Contribute to the growth and maturity of the product by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual as well as team growth; serving as an active contributor to the knowledge and resource base; mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical Q2 teams, customer, and partner colleagues.
