Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!
E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of space-powered Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are fundamentally changing the design, economics, manufacturing, coverage limitations and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.
By building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system—with a unique antenna design, highly sustainable spacecraft system and low-cost, small portable end-user devices—we can extend global satellite coverage, capacity and connectivity beyond legacy space services to provide a new kind of IoT platform that lets users sense, track, connect and act on information gathered, anywhere.
We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to saving space, protecting our planet and turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.
What is the role?
E-Space will securely connect billions of people, animals and objects anywhere on earth. Your data can travel over the internet or connect directly to private data centers without touching commercial traffic. Artificial Intelligence is deployed at the edge as well as everywhere in-between to enable system wide intelligent decisions and take automated actions at levels beyond traditional IoT.
You will be part of a highly skilled team, working towards E-Space’s satellite/spacecraft constellation system cloud architecture including virtualization, software application development and design. You will be contributing towards robust system architecture for cloud deployment and framework that processes input(s) from a variety of systems, components, databases and modules, and evaluates possible configurations, strategies and integration of SW into the system.
You must have demonstrated experience building mobile cloud applications. Wearables and/or Home Automation industry experience is a plus.
What you will do
- UX/UI design, implementing the graphical user interface components and/or tools for cloud deployment, including portions of real-time spacecraft systems simulation packages.
- Construction, modification and maintenance of front-end GUI solution for cloud with a particular emphasis on 3d physics engines and visual representation of data.
- Modifying and maintaining existing front-end simulation pipelines.
Why you're the right candidate
- Experience working in both iOS and Android platforms
- BS with 6+ years of work experience or MS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on programming experience using React, JavaScript, CesiumJS and Python
- Experience with REST API and WebSocket programming.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of cloud systems and deployment architectures.
- Practical, creative, hands-on approach to applying the necessary theory for solving various front-end challenges pertaining to SW/tooling and cloud based architectures.
- Passion for product excellence and quality.
- Strong desire to work as an integral part of a highly capable team.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth, robust implementations.
- Self-driven, enthusiastic and motivated to solve challenging engineering problems.
- Independent and responsible working style with strong focus on details, experience in collaborating with international and cross-divisional teams.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Additional experience we'd like to see
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, system design and architecture.
- Proficient in high-level design and analysis.
- Experience in low-level software implementation.
- Experience working in wearables, home automation, automotive, aerospace or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.

What We Do
E-Space is a global space company focused on bridging Earth and space with the most sustainable low earth orbit (LEO) network that is expected to reach over one hundred thousand multi-application communication satellites to help businesses and governments securely and affordably access the power of space to solve problems on Earth.
Founded by industry pioneer Greg Wyler, E-Space is focused on democratizing space and transforming industries by bringing down the cost of space-based communications, raising the level of satellite system resiliency and setting a new standard in sustainable space infrastructure that will effectively minimize and reduce space debris and destruction while preserving access to space for future generations.
