Overview
Senior QA Automation Engineer will automate complex programs within the PrizePicks ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Experience Developing Automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium Web Driver.
- Experience testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently.
- Experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Selenium Web Driver.
- Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools.
- Ability to conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility across different devices and browsers.
- Develop and executed test scripts for API testing.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ability to pProduce clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a similar degree.
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated mastery experience with Java/Selenium, providing a system-wide view and design guidance.
- Track record of being a self starter to drive a desired results with complex applications.
- Expert experience or knowledge required in the following: SQE process, SQE documentation, and testing.
- Understanding of Coding Fundamentals (variable declaration, program flow, functions, error handling, etc).
- Proficient with automated testing tools (Selenium, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, JMeter, JavaScript, etc)
- Proficient in version and source control tools - Github.
- Strong working understanding and implementation practice of software development life-cycle and testing tools.
- Advanced experience using estimation practices related to task durations to meet schedules in an agile software development environment.
- Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field, including bringing any new ideas to the SQE department.
- Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
