Senior AWS Solution Architect

Your Role

• Design the next generation of IT services to support the megatrends disrupting the mobility industry: electrification, autonomous driving, and connected vehicle.
• Work with the World's Leading Car Manufacturers on new high volume simulation platform to process millions of miles of driving scenarios to enable L4 autonomous driving solutions.
• Design and implement cloud solutions for thousands of engineers around the world.

Basic (Required) Qualifications

• Information Technology degree or similar.
• You have more than 3 years of experience in building and designing Solutions in the Cloud.
• You are a certified Cloud Architect in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• You know how to automate and script cloud workloads and are always looking for newer, faster, and more efficient services.
• It's natural for you to apply and consider cost optimization while working in a cloud environment.
• You know how to work with state of the art continuous integration solutions and are interested in DevOps.
• You are interested in technologies like Kubernetes, OpenStack, containers and virtualization.
• You are motivated, positive and looking for a chance to further develop your technical career.

Potential Projects

• Support and implementation of a global CI/CD solution together with WindRiver as the first all in one, end to end lifecycle management tool in the industry.
• Migration from AWS Landingzone to AWS Watchtower architecture for the whole company.
• Creation and implementation of a IPv6 Design within the cloud.
• Migration of different on prem solutions to the cloud.
• Create and apply security concepts and measurements throughout all services.
• Implementation of a server based Autosar landingzone to directly implement, develop and generate Autosar code in the cloud.
• Establish a multi-regional internet breakout for direct access of all customers to our cloud services.
• Concept and design of different regions as part of Aptiv's environment that will make global development more efficient.
• Support, consult and host solutions for Aptiv.OS, an OS that will be used directly inside the cars as basis for our SVA (Smart Vehicle Architecture) software solutions.
• Create, concept and design a global hybrid cloud based simulation environment for faster and more efficient simulation of embedded workloads.
• Implement and design of an easy scalable remote workstation environment to plug into Aptiv's working environments from anywhere in the world.
