Your Opportunity

New Relic's IT Engineering Team is searching for a Sr. Client Platform Engineer who is passionate about the Mac OS, automation, and security! In this role you will be the primary engineer responsible for maintaining and growing our Mac management architecture and environment.

What You'll Do

  • Administer our global hardware deployment consisting of 2000+ Macs and 500+ iOS devices.
  • Build, refine, and maintain automated provisioning processes using Jamf, Apple Business Manager (ABM), custom scripts, and more.
  • Deploy and maintain Crowdstrike (EDR) client and monitor detections on Mac OS clients
  • Partner with Information Security teams to support security incidents, threat response and remediation
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Mac OS to assist the IT Support team with any related issues
  • Maintain and create documentation for both internal and external teams

Your Qualifications
Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing a large fleet of Macs in an enterprise environment using Jamf Pro as the MDM solution
  • Previous use of ABM and DEP for prestage enrollments
  • Prior use of APIs and integrating various tools for automation of tasks
  • Experience managing enterprise endpoint threat detection and response solutions
  • Python and Bash scripting expertise
  • Prior use of Jira and aptitude for working in agile environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Okta and Jamf Connect
  • Familiarity with OpenLDAP and Jamf related integrations
  • Google Endpoint Management
