About the Role
This position performs complex research, design, and software development assignments for the back-end services of ClinicalKey. Provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
- Working closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Ensuring development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Operating in an Agile development environment while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Resolving complex technical issues as necessary.
- Keeping abreast of new technology developments.
Requirements
- Experience in Agile software development methodology.
- Have understanding of CI/CD, as well as CI/CD best practices.
- Have Knowledge of any of the following is a good to have: Spring, AWS, Hibernate, JUnit/Mockito, Gradle, Jenkins, Liquibase, Redis, Memcached, Lombok, PostgreSQL.
- Have understanding of clean code best practices.
- Experience in writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components.
- Have experience in using relational databases such as PostgresSQL.
