Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of performance test goals and strategies for the performance non- functional requirements
  • Work with project teams, Architecture teams, Agile teams and Quality director to establish performance testing scope and effort
  • Create and maintain scripts and scenarios on different performance test tools
  • Size test effort, identifies tasks, and documents tasks for the project plan and the performance test plan
  • Define/enhance processes and strategies associated with performance testing
  • Execute performance tests, and analyze results
  • Apply appropriate performance testing technologies to meet the short and long-term goals of the testing organization with a focus on improving overall testing efficiency
  • Troubleshoot performance issues in collaboration with architecture and development teams
  • Perform root cause analysis and drives issues to appropriate resolutions
  • Knowledge of performance trouble shooting heap dump & thread dump analysis
  • Monitor logs in Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk and Grafana and recommend improvements
  • Support the preparation of data and infrastructure within the performance lab environment
  • Responsible for creating all project deliverables including performance test plans, performance test reports, and performance dashboards
  • Gather business key metrics, volumetric, assemble workload and transaction information
  • Design the performance scenarios that meet the objectives identified in the performance test plans
  • Monitor DBs, applications, and operational system performance to ensure that they are operating at optimum efficiency
  • Communication - clearly convey information and ideas both verbally and written

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience scripting with the Loadrunner HTML protocol or Jmeter
  • Experience App monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk & Grafana)
  • Experience in Azure Performance Tools
  • Experience in Working Web Service (REST & SOAP)
  • Exposure to scripting using Websockets protocol


Preferred Qualifcation:

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
