The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Job Description
As a Lead of our Quality Assurance team , your goal is to ensure that our applications work as they should and meet customers' needs. To accomplish this, you'll join one of our high-performing Quality Assurance teams. You'll draw on your testing knowledge and creativity to automate test capabilities and design test and maintenance procedures. You'll also tap our existing test frameworks to tackle specific problems. We take a collaborative approach to quality, which means you'll work with experienced developers, managers, and business partners across the organization. You'll receive coaching, mentorship, and continuous feedback to help you become an even better technologist and professional.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Previous experience testing solutions on the Service Now platform
• Proven ability to write and maintain automated test scripts leveraging Service Now ATF
• Detailed understanding of common defect and data management tools
• Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile, and test automation strategies
• Experience working effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals
• Proficiency in a business function and some understanding of the broader business context
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Automation testing expertise to include:
  • Test development, release and maintenance
    • Web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, load, performance and end to end testing
  • Software quality and testing methodologies
  • Test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium)
  • CI/CD pipelines and tooling
  • Experience developing software using Python, Java, C, C++, or other high-level programming languages.
