Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides architectural oversight and overall solution design to enable solution reuse, scalability and speed to market
  • Overall architect and leads solution design - defines technical best practices, polices and standards to fit into our enterprise
  • Drives enterprise application usage, feature reuse to deliver scalable solutions
  • Analyze customer requirements to help ensure the solutions are fit for purpose
  • Collaborates closely with the stakeholders in delivering business value by driving architecture, build and development decisions. Leads continuous improvement
  • Provide Managed File Transfer specific technical guidance and support to builders/ developers
  • Comply with and helps enforce design and coding standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure documentation is well maintained
  • Communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager and providing inputs to the change control process
  • Training and mentoring other developers within the team on development and delivery disciplines
  • Develop team standards and best practices while keeping up to date with WalkMe industry standards, and technology changes to help build robust systems to accommodate the industry requirements and business needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience as a full stack Java software development engineer or equivalent hands-on experience producing code for production systems
  • 2+ years experience in at least two other high-level languages (Python, Golang, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of the software build cycle is a must. Experience in automation of CI/CD using Jenkins[Pipeline as Code] and Source control system Git is needed
  • Agile/lean development practice
  • Design mindset - capable of building distributed/scalable services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of SaaS experience, website features/technicalities (HTML and/or CSS)
  • Experience with managed file transfer
  • Significant experience with software development programming database concepts
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Proven experience in delivering successful IT business software projects
  • Good understanding of programming concepts and a programming background in one or more modern languages, preferably Java
  • Solid understanding of typical Enterprise IT infrastructure architecture
  • Good understanding of the key requirements documents involved in a delivery lifecycle (functional, technical, testing documents)
  • Good database skills with experience using MySQL
  • Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
  • Well-organized with good communication and reporting skills
  • Evidence-based approach to making decisions and solving problems

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
