Mobile (Flutter) Developer

Blank Street is expanding and looking for a Mobile Developer to join our engineering team.

This is a full-time Remote position, that requires partial overlap with NY working hours (EST).

About the Role:

At Blank Street you’ll

• Build a mobile commerce app that delights our customers and significantly improves the experience and convenience of buying your daily cup of coffee. 
• Build, implement, ship, and maintain key product features
• Ship cross-platform mobile features using Flutter, Dart, Firebase, and CodeMagic,
  integrated with a NestJS API on top of an AWS backend infrastructure.
• Help establish and influence our engineering processes, tools, and systems to maximize speed & productivity

Requirements:

• 3+ years working as a Mobile Developer (Android or iOS or Flutter)
• Partial ability to work during business hours on Eastern Standard Time if remote 
• Track record shipping high quality products & features at scale
• Experience with mobile development best practices
• Experience with Software architecture, Design Patterns, Coding Standards & SOLID principles
• Exceptional teamwork & communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and comfortable with ambiguity

• Experience with Firebase
• Experience with CI/CD for Mobile 
• Knowledge in Mobile Performance
• Experience with writing Back-End code
• BSc or BA in Computer Science or a similar degree
