MetroStar Systems is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Software Development Engineer - Angular with a passion for Modern JavaScript and keeping on top of the latest development trends. You’ll help engineer tools to modernize outdated paper-based process into digital that directly impact nationwide agencies via cutting edge cloud and software development practices. You're a great fit if:

• You are passionate about Modern JavaScript
• You incorporate DevOps best practices for code deployment and are a stickler for good clean code

• You have 5-7 years’ software development experience
• You have experience developing UI applications using advanced JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue
• You have experience with modern HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS
• You have knowledge of Agile processes such as Scrum, KanBan, SAFe, Less, XP
• You have experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, VB.NET, Python, C/C++
• You have experience with modern source code repositories, such as Git
• You have a bachelor’s degree in STEM and ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability

We'll REALLY love you if: (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out)

• Experience working in Agile environment participating in ceremonies, producing artifacts, work in a team
• Experience with containerized and microservice solution development
• Knowledge of Cloud services such as AWS, and MS Azure
