Manager - Cloud Automation Global Products- Remote

We provide Site Reliability for the Global Products teams. Our group is responsible for the observability of our production workloads, developer support, application enablement and automation. We release new features and applications quickly and frequently, while removing the need for human intervention in application deployments
What you will do
- Lead our automation team as we build the automated tooling and frameworks for on-boarding of the JCI applications into the Continuous Integration pipelines
How you will do it
- Build the automated tooling and frameworks to provide continuous deployment of the applications and core infrastructure into the Cloud environments as well as automated deployment packages for automated private Cloud deployments
- Own the discussion with a "Security First" approach to implementation to integrate security tools within CI/CD pipelines and product/solution is on-boarded to multi-tier security pipelines
- Development, architecture definition and automated tooling for deployment of infrastructure components
- Define the architecture, systems and standards for the CI/CD pipelines, core dependent services and infrastructure components
- Responsible for automated instrumentation of the application and associated infrastructure
- Collaborate and work closely with the Security teams to define and implement security compliance controls, auditing, and privacy initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering to provide guidance on application availability, performance, organizational change policies and processes, implementation of security controls and standard methodologies, capacity planning and automated performance monitoring
- Responsible to keep abreast of the latest industry standards related to SRE processes and emerging practices
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management to understand the environments, and design deployment architectures needed to provide appropriatelevels of reliability, scalability and security
What We look for
- 10+ years leading software engineering teams in building and operating mission critical or highly available critical systems and infrastructures
- Prior experience in DevOPS, Infrastructure Engineering, and Systems Engineering required
- Experience building highly motivated and technical teams of engineers
