Red Hat is building a specialized global experienced sales team to ramp up the go-to-market through Red Hat Managed OpenShift offerings on AWS, Azure, and other public clouds. If you're up for the challenge, read on.
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join us. In this role, you will focus on growing our presence with customers who have purchased Managed OpenShift and position Red Hat as the preferred option for workloads and applications across the business. You will need to be able to confidently articulate value proposition to leadership, developers, and IT teams within the account. This will entail technical architecture walk-throughs, business-value conversations, customer-facing technical workshops, and more. This is a remote role covering the Latin America (LATAM) region, with internal leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with the Managed Services product team, helping to test, document, and demo innovative features. You will also work in close collaboration with Red Hat customer sales teams and post-sales architects to ensure a highly positive customer experience. This position can be in any LATAM country where Red Hat has an office, preferably Brazil, Argentina, or Mexico.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with the customer account team to identify challenges and blockers to wider Managed OpenShift adoption and consumption within new and existing customer accounts
  • Coordinate with regional sales engineering for account planning and go-to-market as needed
  • Plan, design, and delivery tailored solutions which will effectively address the above, using additional support and resources from Red Hat as required
  • Identify and partner with customer champions, acting as an advocate within both their line-of-business and application development teams, as well as within Red Hat
  • Work closely with the product team, providing feedback on the services and underlying platforms they are running over
  • Assist leadership with evolving our go-to-market strategy for Managed OpenShift Cloud Services adoption
  • Based on your first-hand customer experience, work in close coordination with the business development and technical presales teams responsible for our strategic cloud provider and independent software vendor (ISV) partnerships to identify potential for repeatable and scalable go-to-market offerings
  • Facilitate pre and post-sales activities including technical deep dives, proofs of concept, "bake-offs," internal "DevOpsDays" events, application portfolio reviews, etc.
  • Be responsible for execute community outreach and customer advocacy activities


Required skills

  • 4+ years of application development or IT operations experience
  • Practical experience in the Kubernetes ecosystem, including competing technologies
  • Direct experience in one or more cloud service providers
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps and agile concepts and application development and deployment tools, including project management, supply-chain management (SCM), continuous integration (CI) or continuous delivery (CD), testing, security, monitoring, and modern programming languages/frameworks
  • Executive presence with public speaking skills
  • Fluency in English as well as in Spanish or Portuguese


One or more of the following is a plus:

  • Computer science or similar degree
  • Experience at an enterprise software company, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, or service integrator
  • Record of community brand in volunteer tech communities like DevOpsDays or open source projects
