As a Lead Software Engineer on Web Content Engineering Team, your role is to drive the overall architecture and vision for technology aspects of the Marketing/Content organization. You have experience building and promoting sophisticated web systems, with headless CMS and highly-performant delivery frameworks. You are a master of the full stack and have deep understanding of web performance and user experience optimization. You care deeply about delivering pixel perfect interactive applications that drive massive traffic to our marketing website.

Responsibilities:
- Set overall direction and vision for the web architecture and all associated systems.
- Work side by side with graphic designers, marketing and product managers to translate their requirements to a set of technical deliverables.
- Build and promote the culture of code ownership and responsibility.
- Support other software engineers and provide mentorship to junior staff
- Continuously explore and research solutions on how to improve our Marketing Platform.
- You are a lifetime student at heart and never stop learning.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in full-stack role, developing sophisticated websites and web apps.
- Working knowledge of static site generators (Gatsby, Hugo, etc), headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Forestry, DatoCMS, Sanity).
- Expert with vanilla JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Mastery of advanced SASS/SCSS concepts.
- Hands-on experience with backend languages (JavaScript/Node, PHP).
- Understanding of advanced DevOps concepts related to website operations.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications and Bonus Points:
- Experience supporting advanced Wordpress setups and migrations.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Passionate about intuitive and highly performant UI.
- Startup experience and deep passion about Productivity platforms!
