We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and forward-thinking Lead Mobile Engineer to join our team. You will directly lead and contribute to delivering our most ambitious projects in a high pace environment. 

You will be hands-on in delivering mobile software solutions that drive the digital and eCommerce capabilities of Snap Finance. In this role, you will be a key influence in the success of our goals, we are searching for candidates with strong fundamental experience in mobile software development, design, architecture principles. Responsibilities

• Sets the standard by writing high-quality code that is performant, reusable, and secure while adhering to industry best practices.
• Leads the design, architecture, and scale of mobile cloud-native applications.
• Performs as subject matter expert, helping team members, understand complex technical needs, risks, and hurdles.
• Leads the implementation and provides valuable feedback and code review.
• Collaborates effectively with product team and other technology teams to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
• Works in a team as well as independently to deliver on aggressive schedules and goals

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience writing code and a proven track record of delivering customer-facing mobile applications
• 3+ years of experience in React Native is required along with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 2 years mobile application architecture experience with applications released in app stores with high ratings.
• Experience in application build and deployment with CI/CD automation along with application deployment to Apple/Google apps stores
• Experience leading the execution of complex projects involving multiple engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS and understanding of GraphQL/AWS AppSync for API integration from the mobile application
• A strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences. Integrating with camera and biometric sensors
• Focus on application performance and memory management
• Adept at working in Agile teams, exposure to SAFE preferred 
• Start-up experience preferred
