Job Description DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Participate in pre-project business development activities including ROM estimates, technical feasibility analysis, and design of new product solutions. Provide technical leadership and assume overall accountability for successful implementation phases on all client projects. Oversee and manage team members to ensure solutions are properly structured, specified, and developed. Partner with the QA team to ensure quality. Establish the direction for all aspects of the origination technology practice in collaboration with the other technical leads. Establish protocols and promote improvements in technical operations including building and deployment automation, external monitoring, and implementation of back office tools. Lead the development of a new travel-based product that involves booking engine integration, social integration, and other customizations. Manage teams for enterprise clients and oversee technical analysis and reviews, client communication, deliver of technical trainings, and team development. Lead software development team and interface with product principles and SPOCs (single points of contact). Monitor team members' day-to-day activities, including assigning tasks, approving schedules, and ensuring compliance with timelines. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Review all work produced by the development team to ensure codes produced meet company standards. Manage client interaction and expectations regarding development efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or eight (8) years of experience as an Application Developer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.
