Job Description The Channels Integrations engineer passionate technologist who understands complex systems and enjoys connecting them. This person specializes in systems integration, cross-channel API design and framework interoperability. The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking and technical skills, with the ability to holistically analyze a problem from both business and technical perspectives. The candidate will define target state architectures, and build or support the work of other engineers to implement solutions. This person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a quick learner.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product owners to advance Chase products and technologies.
• Translate new integration requests into requirements, and work with the team to build solutions to complex problems.
• Drive adoption of integration tools and best practices with product teams.
• Adhere to (and contribute to) inter- and intra-team best practices for flexible, modular architecture design.
• Work closely with product owners to ensure a full understanding of new features.
• Provide innovative solutions to ensure that the selected architecture scales in an Agile fashion.

Qualifications:

• Must Have
  • 3+ years of software development and/or technology experience
  • Ability to prioritize work, gather requirements, size appropriately into actionable deliverables
  • Successful track record of meeting and communicating timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in application design patterns and architecture with strong understanding of object-oriented concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing in an object-oriented language (Java, C++/C#, PHP). JavaScript experience with Node.js preferred.
  • Experience in data modeling and data analysis.
  • Quick learner with ability to grasp abstract concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field - or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Risk Management.
  • Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL.
  • Experience with database design.
  • Experience with analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and responsive design for mobile platforms.
  • Experience with Objective-C or Swift.
  • Experienced or knowledgeable with semantic web or semantic models.
  • Experience creating and understanding regular expressions.
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Services; banking experience is a plus.
