What you will do:
- Create quality coded, documented, and tested software features to meet customer product requirements for our Wireless Carrier provisioning system.
- Review business requirements in our product backlog, and work within scrum process to clarify and agree on features, and estimate work
- Work with 3rd party partners (including AT&T, Verizon, Spring, TMobile and Claro) to help develop solutions for TracFone.
- Support production system by identifying and addressing bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks that cause customer-facing issues.
- Keep up to date on new technologies, develop proof of concept applications to test them, and propose new ways to use to improve our systems in upcoming projects.
Required Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in CIS/MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or a similar STEM subject, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 5 years of software development experience in an Enterprise environment using Java
- 2 years of experience developing and or consuming web services (SOAP, REST, XML).
- Some knowledge and experience in Cloud ecosystems (preferably AWS).
- Some experience in highly scalable fault tolerant system design and system integration preferred.
- Experience with the Spring Framework preferred (Spring Boot).
- Hands on usage of UNIX/Linux is required.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills is required.
