Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role:
Java Developer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms.
Duties include:
-Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
-Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
-Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
-Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
-Support applications, systems, and databases used to process eligibility, claims, and related healthcare activities
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
-Mentor junior team members.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75000
Maximum: 167000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
-7+ years Java development experience

Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following:
-Java 7 or above, Python, or Node.js
-Spring Boot microservices
-Cloud technologies: Azure, AWS or GCP
-XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
-Angular, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone
-REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs.
-Paired programming experience
-JavaScript frameworks, such as Ext.js and React.
-Build Tools (Maven or Gradle)
-CI/CD experience
-Experience in debugging issues and providing support to business teams
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
